I pretty much chronicled the past week in yesterday's post, so here are the numbers:
Last week weight - 210.8
This week weight -210.8
-0.0 lbs
Overall Drop - 1.6 lbsSo glad I maintained.... Especially since I was up by 2lbs yesterday morning.
Although it may have been late in the week to make my huge exercise breakthrough, I am SOOO glad that my motivation has changed.

I still cannot believe that I signed up to do a HALF MARATHON!!!
My challenge and opportunity for the coming week is to get my eating plan figured out. I have really struggled to do it all on my own. I am actually considering Nutrisystem or Jenny Craig, so that the food is already prepped for me. Anyone have preferences? I am thinking it will be just a way to jumpstart me and that within a couple of months I will be able to take over on my own. What have you had the most success with?
That is great news....maintaining can be a good thing! And even better that you feel such awesome motivation to keep making good choices!
ReplyDeleteI've never done a prepackaged plan before, but just started WW, so I will be tracking more religiously...and seeing it on paper makes a huge difference.
Good luck this week!
there are much worse things in life than maintenace! :)
ReplyDeleteas for the meal plan - i've never done either so i can't help you there. i'm just a calorie counter.
Nothing wrong with maintaining.
ReplyDeleteFor the meal plan, I've never done that so I cannot help. Sorry. Hope someone can answer the question about Jenny Craig vs Nutrisystem. Good luck this week.
I've used WW in the past with huge success. Now, since I kind of know how WW works, I just do it on my own. I also find that food journaling (writing down EVERY single thing I eat) eliminates some of the mindless snacking.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you for signing up for the 1/2 marathon!

yay for the 1/2 marathon!!! you can so totally do it!!!
ReplyDeletemeal plans, i've done WW, which was FANTASTIC! it totally helped me break through a plateau I was in. I started out doing Body For Life, which has you eating 5-6 times a day, protein and carb in even proportions (2 or 3 of them can be the Myoplex protein shake). I lost 16 pounds on that and it was pretty easy (there was a "free day" built into the plan too which was key for me.)
sparkpeople.com was also good, counting calories. but because i was exercising so much, i never did figure out exactly how many calories i should be eating. i loved weight watchers because it figured that part out for you and also, there were no foods i needed to cut out, i just needed to make sure i didn't go over in my points. darn it, this makes me wanna join again because i'm getting a little stuck between plans myself! good luck, great job on maintaining!!
